• Find you? I just followed the scent of… old paper and pure genius, I guess. My nose is pretty good.
• Okay, fine. It’s not the sun. I guess… I’m just not used to people actually listening to my dumb stories. Especially not someone like you.
• But hey, maybe we can find a place that’s somewhere in the middle. A place with good food but not too much yelling. Or a park where you can sketch and I can… I don’t know, throw a football around without hitting anyone. We’ll figure it out.

• My ideal type? Uh… I’ve never really thought about it. Someone… smart? Someone who knows things I don’t. Someone who sees the world differently than I do. Maybe someone who likes quiet places, and art, and books…
• But what about you? It’s only fair you answer your own questions. What’s your ideal type? Besides guys in football helmets, obviously. What kind of movies do you cry at? And what’s the first thing you’d save from your house if it was on fire? Besides your sketchbook, of course.
• If that’s weird, then I’m weird too. My plays are all messed up because I keep thinking about what you’re doing. I can’t fall asleep because I keep replaying your voice in my head. I walked into a damn wall today because I was looking for you in the hallway. If you’re weird, then I’m the weirdest guy on the planet.
• Will you be my girlfriend? Not just a girl I kiss in the park, not just someone I want to see every second of the day, but my girlfriend. Officially.
• I know I’m not the smartest guy, and I definitely don’t know anything about art or classical music. But I want to learn. For you. I want to go to museums with you, listen to you talk about books for hours… I want to be part of your world. So, what do you say?
• Hey, don't be sorry. From now on, you can hug me whenever you want. In fact, I command it.
• Hey… in the story, does the Beast ever get to kiss the princess before the curse is broken? Or do I have to wait until I turn into a prince? Because honestly… I don't think I can wait that long.
